Did you know that 98% of the world’s supply of stone crabs originates from the state of Florida? Stone crabs are a renewable food source - meaning that no animal has to be killed in order to enjoy their meat! Florida stone crabs are most common along the coastline and throughout the Gulf of Mexico. The tradition of eating large stone crab claws icy cold, with a side of mustard, has been an American tradition for decades. Here at Patas Stone Crabs, we strive to uphold this longstanding tradition for years to come. We do this by providing Americans across the country with seafood caught that very day.

Stone crabs claws are sold in a variety of sizes - but any that are supplied to you are always measured to be at least 2” ⅞, as per population sustainability guidelines. Patas Stone Crabs supply all major sizes, including Medium, Large and Jumbo.
Our medium claws are great value for money. A complete meal may consist of about eight to ten florida stone crabs of this size. This option is great for work functions, events, and large catering services due to their appeal as an appetiser.
Large stone crab claws are generously sized! A mere six claws constitute a complete meal - a great option for couples to share, or share plates at family events.
Our Jumbo stone crabs are our most popular option, for good reason. You need only three crab claws per person for a complete meal. Pair with a side of coleslaw and some mustard sauce, and you have a delicious, fresh seafood feast.
We only stock seafood from reputable fisherman who abide by the State’s Agriculture legislation. This seafood is then immediately brought to our facility after arriving on land so that it can be sent out to customers as quickly as possible. Out of season we continue to ship our products frozen using our special process that continues to preserve their freshness long after the stone crab fishing season ends. In this way, you can always taste the freshest Florida stone crabs available on the market.
